KDS Carbine Fundamentals Course
Carbine Fundamentals course is a 4-hour purpose-driven course to give shooters who are new to the carbine platform a fundamental foundation. This course will build you from the ground up. Starting off by teaching each student proper shooting mechanics and marksmanship with the carbine. This course is great for someone who has an experience level between 0-3 months with the carbine platform.
What this course covers:
- Fundamentals of shooting with carbine
- Stance, Grip, recoil management, and body mechanics
- Target acquisition
- Zeroing an optic
- Fundamental drills
- Various shooting positions
- Timed drills
- Engaging multiple targets
Gear Requirements
- Carbine
- Sling
- Optic that is zeroed (preferred but not required)
- War Belt / Gun Belt
- Magazine Holder (Be able to carry x2 mags.)
- 3 Magazines
- 500 Rounds of Carbine ammo
- Eye & Ear Protection
- Permanent Marker
- Range Clothing
- Weapons cleaning Kit
